2.) Talk to a lender. Even if you know you'll have no trouble qualifying for a loan, you should still talk to a lender to find out what programs are available for different types of homes, as well as what the interest rate and monthly note would be on the price ranges you're interested in. Also, a pre approval letter is required by most agents before you make an offer on a property, and some agents even want to see if before they'll schedule a showing! IWe work with great local lenders who can help you find the best financing terms, so we can always refer qualified people.

3.) Get automatic emails. We can arrange to have all the houses that match your criteria emailed to you the moment they're entered online. This way, you're on top of the market and in the best position to find your dream home.

4.) Check out homes online. It's easier than ever for non licensed folks to find properties. Search all the listings on the multiple listing service, or you can check out places like Craigs List. No one knows what you're looking for better than you, so it's a great idea to use this technology when you can. Of course it's our job to know what's on the market, so we can help you sort through all the properties available. We also bring our experitise and shpere of contacts to negotiate the sale and to get you the best deal possible.

5.) Do Ride by's. If you're not familiar with the street a house is on, ride by it before we make an appointment to see it together. This way you'll get a feel for the area, and you may even see some other houses in the area that you're interested in. Nothing's worse than suffering through a pushy listing agent trying to sell you on a house when you've already told usas we've pulled up at the house that you could never live on this block!
