As a proud native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, Lisa Fury possesses an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the neighborhoods, homes, cuisine, and cultural traditions of her beloved and unique hometown. Born into the third generation of a large family of boat builders, fishermen, restaurateurs, merchants, and midwives, she began to hone her present craft early on by developing a compelling fascination with the historic buildings and close-knit communities within her city.

Whether bicycling as a young girl alongside her mother through their favorite neighborhoods, enjoying the food, flowers, and architecture, or cruising with her father in his Hot Rod all over town, from the lake, to the river, to the parade, Lisa was forming ties and bonds within the community that have lasted until today. And now, as a Historic Housing Real Estate Specialist, Lisa is a natural.

After studying as an herbalist and midwife while paying her dues in some of the towns most popular restaurants and watering holes, (not to mention running her own popular fresh juice business in the French Quarter) Lisa gravitated toward real estate as her desire to get involved in the conservation and preservation of New Orleans became more and more pronounced. As Rookie of the Year at Latter & Blum’s Historic Office in 2005 she got off to a healthy start, and now at Urban Vision Realty, Lisa has become a force. A NOMAR Award winner every year since she began, with a continuously growing base of return clients, she is now finding creative solutions to the new problems that have arisen since the hurricanes and housing market changes with both confidence and expertise.

Specializing in the Marigny, Bywater, Holy Cross, French Quarter, Treme, Esplanade Ridge, Bayou St. John, Mid-City, Garden District, Irish Channel, and the Riverbend areas of New Orleans, Lisa is adept at helping both buyers and sellers attain their property-related goals in a friendly and knowledgeable fashion with local flair. Having lived in these neighborhoods her entire life, Lisa is familiar with New Orleans on a block to block basis, and often hears about houses even before they hit the market, making her an invaluable asset to interested buyers. Her 2008 Realtor.com Marketing Award also attests to her aggressive ability to list and sell.
